Artsmitha: It’s a face book page which belongs to a beautiful lady who is a symbol of love, care, gentleness and values. She is powerful and her power is endless. She is epitome of strength and a fountain of life. This page is one of attempts to reflect beauty of Indian women, their emotions, their issues and concerns. Page also includes paintings portraying empowerment of women and their strength. I am also creating awareness about Mithila paintings through this page. I share different information from different sources related to Madhubani art form.
A glance inside my soul: I always try to go beyond the borders. I add mystery, feelings and emotions to my work. I try to communicate not only how I see the world, but also how I feel in it. I reflect inner journey, conflicts, ongoing search for answers surrounding inner me, my experiences , purpose of life and issues related to women, society, environment, love , unity and togetherness, harmony , peace, cultural traditions and rituals. Art provides me with a medium to express myself, feed my soul and feel fresh every day. Art inspires me a lot and I wake up every morning with an urge to create something unique.
